To 10 years of the nightmare in the ring: Remembering Owen Hart
10 years ago exactly (May 23, 1999) the MNM wrote to itself one of the saddest pages for for the death of one of the most popular fighters of this moment: Owen Hart. But what made it so famous was that it lost the life it arrives of a ring.
If you belong to the fans of whom scarcely they begin to continue this sport - spectacle, we can say to you that his decease is still not very clear, but the fact is that Owen fell down of the top part of the sand where in that occasion the PPV appeared Over The Edge … before his fight against The Godfather for the Intercontinental title under the personage of "Blue Blazer" who is supposed was a superhero who was entering flying he was doing the ring from the top part of the sand where they were presenting before themselves.
This day something failed, some of them say that the rope broke, others that the safety harness was not well mounted or that one slipped exactly before being able to put itself the team of protection. The fact is that Owen fell down of a height superior to 20 meters falling down inside the ring (after striking lightly the ropes) … in this moment, Owen tried to rejoin but it was very injured and it fell down struck dead.
The paramedics quickly entered the ring and attended to it later to extract it in stretcher and to take it to hospital where his death was confirmed by internal wounds.
The only ones that could attend this terrible event the people were only inside Kemper Arena of Kansas City since to the moment in which it happened, the people who saw the event for PPV were seeing the video before to the struggle and I joust when it finished … the cameras they focused in the public and in Jim Ross who was telling that something extra had happened out of the "entertainment" that they were offering.
Soon the same JR the PPV would confirm the news in and on the following day the MNM he dedicated all his RAW program in memory of Owen.
Today, to 10 years of his game, we want to pay to him a tribute to a fighter who of course nowadays would have million fans, not only in the United States, but in the whole world where the MNM has expanded during this time.
We leave them with a video that in spite of his terrible edition, counts with many key moments inside the history I joust at the moment of his death, like the interventions of Jim Ross, interviews with the assistants to the event and the press conference offered by Vince McMahon.
