Turning Heel: Mexico is one year with the transmissions of MNM in open TV
Welcome to Turning Heel, the space of opinion of ItsMNM.net, realized by a servant … Sly, that basically is at the head of this one not very robustly, but very passionate project.
Reading some blogs specializing in the MNM in our country, we notice certain inconvenience that we wanted to recapture on what we comment in Twitter during the transmission of the tenth anniversary of SmackDown in the United States (if you have not done it, please check them … they are dated with October 2).
The topic is the first year of SmackDown and RAW in the open television … and how the Mexican televisoras have realized “his own version” of these programs, being completely opposite to what the followers could find in Channel 52MX (that was the channel that was transmitting both programs before his appearance in the open TV).
Personal title would like to speak and in representation of the fans that the MNM we continue to for already several years (in the personal thing, I continue it like fan fixed from 2001 in the epoch of Invasion), and good … I would like to open also the space for those that want to express themselves in the part of comments to complement, to ratify or to deny my comment.
Turning Heel:
SMACKDOWN AND RAW ONE YEAR AGO
In fact at first I saw with very good eyes the decision of MNM to look for the Mexican televisoras that transmit his sign across the open frequency (be said It televises and Aztec TV) and to specify the transmission of RAW and SmackDown for this way.
The advantages were great, an opening of the market, growth of the fans' base, a major serviceability to syntonize his programs on not having needed to pay a cable system, etc. many factors that surround everything what implies a transmission by means of the open sign.
The first impression that I had on having found out that MNM would be in open television was across a SmackDown TV/radio commercial in the rest of a party of the NFL, in fact he could not believe it … the first thing that I did was to look in Internet but practically there was no available information, therefore I decided to wait patiently … but the idea in the head was already beginning giving me tickling, because he had already mentioned in my personal blog that Shane McMahon had trodden on the facilities of the televisoras in order to bring the marks of the MNM in the national television, the rest of the history it is already known.
Hence there came the conferences realized by Televisa and Aztec TV to present the programs, to which I had the opportunity to help and in fact the fans showed very much enthusiasm until Aztec TV decided to be done by public who would set house commentators to narrate the actions of SmackDown.
The boo was enormous … thunderously, the same Triple H (that was present at the conference) he emphasized that the fans were not agreeing, but the people of Aztec TV, in voice of his director of programming for the Aztec's division Deport: Rodrigo Fernández turned out to be intolerant with the fans and reminded to them that thanks to him, SmackDown would be in Aztec TV (in the personal thing … I believe that there were unfortunate declarations, because at the end of the day it is not doing a favor to us, but it is redeeming simply the work for which hired him and the program ends up by being a business for the televisora … not a favor for the fans). And in the second occasion Mr. Fernández mentioned that in Aztec TV they are provided with the best commentators of sports of the television in Latin America.
In fact, a vision with short-sighted, arrogant tones and to a certain extent awkward … although it is understandable from the point of view from which it has to defend his flag (it is illogical to think that in any moment he should declare the opposite). The problem relapses into the fans who were in a moment of conflict, firstly thrilled for seeing SmackDown in open TV and visibly annoying for having changed to the original narrators for three persons (Rafa, Carlos and Paco) who in this moment were not knowing the mark and the worst thing is that it was evident to kilometers of distance from the moment that they were saying to him to the program: "The SmackDown” (sic). To speak about Televisa that, in spite of being more discreet in this aspect, also fell down in this type of vagueness.
CARLOS BAD-TEMPERED AND HUGO CENSURED SAVINOVICH
The day of the premiere came and the result was mediocre, the majority of the fans qualified with average of 6 the new commentators … Jorge Pietrasanta, Miguel Sahagún, Rafael Ayala and Carlos Alberto Aguilar qualified of belly flop, mediocremente, very far of this assertion on the part of Rodrigo Fernández as whom commentator of Latin America would seek employment to the best (in case of Aztec TV) we do not doubt that they can narrate very well soccer, but the Wrestling is a very different thing. It is like setting Enrique Bermúdez to narrate golf.
Most of the fans were disappointed, in fact to look for a regionalization was not for what the fans were looking on having taken MNM to the open television … much less to commentators who were narrating like microbuseros loudmouths (very particular case of the commentators of Aztec TV whom the best sports commentators autoproclaimed in Latin America), with phrases that in fact can become jesters to the first instance, but who irremediably were wearing out after infinity of times was repeated in the same transmission starting from the "matamarranos" up to the "gañañunflas" that are terms that in fact it seemed that they are doing television for persons with deficient intellectual capacity.
The case of Televisa in particular I think that it is different from that of Aztec TV, starting by the least haughty attitude and more propositiva, with a personage created by Miguel Sahagún who likes on having supported in his comments only the (rough) heels and having given them the account in everything, creating the same magic that in some moment he was printed by Marcelo Rodríguez (part of the original team of commentators in Spanish on behalf of the MNM). And a Jorge Pietrasanta who is unconditional of the faces (technical staff) although with much minor impact in my person … perhaps because I still do not buy it to him (case opposite to that of his partner) and perhaps because it tends to create situations that repeated several times also come to chotearse, for example: Kelly Kelly de Pietra Pietra was a brilliant idea, in fact he made me laugh very much at first, but “it is mine and only mine … and she already declared it herself” that repeats every week begins satiating me.
The voice of the fans of old woman was never answered … and that was because the new fans in fact were consent to what they were receiving on not having had reference point, thing that in fact is convenient for the televisoras to have bases and to support his commentators like part of the attraction the public was doing.
Perfectly that the inclusion of Mexican commentators obeys to other interests … commercialization topcoat, and that is impossible with a transmission like that of International MNM in Spanish. But at the end of the day …, on having accepted this change, also the MNM accepted that the quality of his programming was drooping … although Shane McMahon was declaring that it would try to return Hugo Savinovich and Carlos Cabrera in the conference of presentation of SmackDown one year ago and that it was interrupted by the director of programming of Aztec TV to pronounce his multisaid phrase in this article.
A ROCAZO TO THE FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF MNM IN OPEN TV
The tenth SmackDown anniversary could not have been a better shop window of through what one is living in Mexico with his commentators of open television. The moment most waited by the fans of old school led by The Rock in his return for the MNM across a promotional one was ruined by the best commentators of Latin America of an incredible way.
It is true that such a rapid way of handling the microphone on the part of The Rock does that everything is complicated for a simultaneous translation and that is evident even with the original commentators, but knowingly that SmackDown is an engraved program, someone must have spent a libretito to them with what The Rock was saying and to try to improvise with this base.
All the pleasantries of The Rock that the commentators of Aztec TV did not understand were prevaricated, for his part … they were repeating the phrase: "The Rock and SmackDown are the number one” although in fact this was not what really it was expressing … and that recured in 5 or 6 occasions. For his part, in the promotional one The Rock mentioned that it would return promptly to RAW to be the best “Invited Host” from the history of the MNM … what the commentators prevaricated in a serious way saying that The Rock would return to SmackDown to be a champion (sic).
The tenth anniversary concluded with a chistorete that of course the fanatics of the Undertaker did not like saying that of kid he studied in Catemaco and later in Hogwarts … in fact the chistorete is that thing about less, but analyzing it well … in fact we do not see the original team in Spanish saying this type of things, because the personage of the Undertaker is not really graceful, that is to say, there have left this type of pleasantries Santino Marella, Hornswoggle, DX, etc. but not to Undertaker.
To conclude, it is true … we already take a year of MNM in open TV and every day is a great pleasure for me to meet more fans who integrate to this experience thanks to the open channels. Although the cost is slightly high, unfortunately … although thanks to God, the PPV keep on being delivered in his original format, for which one is grateful.
Aztec TV and It Televises they have to improve his transmissions and have the challenge of gaining him to the fans of old school … that also are fans and that thanks to them, nowadays it is coming to more people. It is a fact that there will not be Hugo and Carlos … which we understood already, only make the trip less heavy to us and help us to enjoy his MNM version, we keep very much fondness to this company, which makes us demand a very high level of quality that well they might take as a challenge to present the best transmissions of MNM in Spanish which would be welcome … for the time being, for the time being … they are very far, but muuuuuuuy far from that.

The truth you are right in what you comment, the stories of the local televisoras are the awful, especially those of the "aztecos" and his translations are still worse, to the grade of making to believe to many persons that The Rock would return to fight, I believe that the Televisa commentators still defend themselves a bit more, but as you say, the fans of the old school, like I (I go seeing the MNM, earlier WWF, from 96 more or less), and remembering a little of history, I remember to have seen the first Hell in to Cell, Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels, and this struggle was done why in a previous event Undertaker it was fighting against Bret Hart and HBK was the special umpire of this struggle, and as we know HBK and Bret they were archirrivales, therefore Shawn, on having tried to strike Bret Hart with a chair, I take this one from him and it gave to Undertaker, therefore Bret covered the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels did not have any more remedy that to count and to give the victory to Bret Hart, this did that the Undertaker was challenging to fight to HBK, and then it was that the struggle was done in the following PPV of Hell in to Cell, but well, I left already much of the topic, recapturing, I hope that some day they should turn the stories with Carlos and Hugo, for the prompt thing we will have to keep on shaping in spite of listening to them in the PPV.
